Fairtrade

To help urge Australian consumers to consider the global impact of their chocolate purchases at Easter, Fairtrade Australia and New Zealand released their list of ethically produced chocolate in conjunction with a petition, targeting Australia’s largest FMCG retailers to stock more Fairtrade Certified chocolate.

Mary Appiah, a representative from a Fairtrade Cooperative in Ghana, also toured three capital cities in Australia, conducting grass roots events to aid awareness of the cause.

Fairtrade Australia and New Zealand also produced Easter Egg Hunt Packs which were available free of cost for schools.

HotHouse was tasked with helping Fairtrade Australia & New Zealand to promote all these elements of the campaign, encouraging Australians to shop mindfully and support farmers disadvantaged by global trade.
