What our Clients say

We appointed HotHouse Media & Events to handle the PR for the first Melbourne Dog Lovers Show in 2013.  Having previously experienced soft results from other PR agencies we had some reluctance, but it turned out to be one of the best decisions we could have made for the all-important launch show.

Michelle, John and their team worked tirelessly to secure millions of dollars’ worth of above and below the line coverage for the Dog Lovers Show which had no track record and was a brand new concept.  They also worked closely with our media partners to ensure we maximised the PR opportunities across these key platforms including Channel 9, Channel 7, 3AW, Daily Telegraph and the Herald Sun.

I believe the success they have achieved for our business can be attributed to their strong relationships with the media, their genuine passion for our product and the fact they leave no stone unturned when seeking out PR opportunities.

Our relationship with HotHouse has only gotten  stronger and we have consequently appointed them to handle the PR for every event our company has staged since 2013.  We also have a lot of fun working with their team and there is no way we could run PR this well  in-house.

In 2014 the Dog Lovers Show won Best Australian Show and Best Consumer Show at the Exhibition & Event Association of Australasia’s Award for Excellence.  In 2015 we successfully launched Sydney and in 2016, and Brisbane in 2017.  HHME has been integral to our success every step of the way.

Jason Humphris, Dog Lovers Show, Executive Director & CEO

HotHouse Media & Events have been managing Sanpellegrino’s PR and Event Sponsorship activity for 14 years now. Our long standing relationship, and the high level of work that they manage, makes HotHouse very much part of our internal team as opposed to an external agency relationship. Their passion for our brands and what they do, dedication to getting results, and exceptional level of service is commendable. Aside from this, their whole team are an absolute joy to work with. We have a lot of laughs and fun which makes my job all the more enjoyable.

Manuela Capponi,  Marketing Director Sanpellegrino Asia Pacific

HotHouse Media are energetic, passionate and seasoned professionals that are incredibly committed to achieving optimal results.  Feeling like an extension of our business and ‘one of the team,’ Hot House had a clear understanding of our vision and amplified the stories that we wanted to tell. In the fast-changing, competitive landscape that is the restaurant industry, John and his team apply a genuine, no-fluff approach to communicate with both us and the media, and as such they effectively made an impact by landing some great media coverage for Supernormal. Their solid connections and relationships with the press have been built over years of being immersed in the industry and their ability to craft and tailor their approach accordingly is a real skill that we benefited from greatly.

Andrew McConnell – Owner

We worked with HotHouse on the inaugural BBC Proms Australia, and were extremely happy with the campaign they delivered. We were looking for an agency with strong media relationships and a thorough understanding of the Melbourne media landscape, and the HotHouse team had that in spades. A raft of positive coverage was achieved, including across news bulletins on all four free-to-air networks, helping to significantly raise the profile of the Proms to a mainstream audience. The team was motivated and had a fantastic can-do attitude, we wouldn’t hesitate in working with HotHouse again.

Melbourne Recital Centre

HotHouse were commissioned by the Melbourne Recital Centre to handle the publicity for two of our key stone events: our inaugural Garden Party and also our 5th anniversary celebrations. We found the team to be creative, hands on and a pleasure to work with. Their strong relationships and knowledge of the media was evident from day one as was their commitment to achieving results for the Centre.

Robert Murray, Director of Marketing and Customer Relations, Melbourne Recital Centre
